In this section we start by introducing you to you Community AED course, and what to except throughout. We talk to you about the Emergency Services, and what to do while waiting for them to arrive. We then talk you through the chain of survival, and initial assessment and the recovery position.

In this section we talk you through when to call for assistance. You will learn about CPR in both adults and children, and also CPR handover and compression only CPR.

An AED is an Automatic External Defibrillator. In these videos we will talk you through how to use an AED, including the accessories and set up. You will also learn about the difference between using an AED on an adult and a child. Finally, we talk through the different types of AED pads.

In this final section we talk you through what you need to do after using an AED, and post resuscitation procedures. We then summarise the course, and explain how the test works. We also explain how you can review any part of the course before or after completing your test.
